Dive into one of Sofia Lynggaard Norman’s two debut collection. The Young Fish universe is inspired by days of diving in Australia and the vibrant world beneath the surface of the ocean. A world where light brings colours to life. A world that is always in motion. In this collection, Sofia captures the essence of ocean creatures in playful designs with whimsical details. The Young Fish ring features a Akoya pearl that bounces with a gentle touch. The Young Fish earrings can be styled with a variety of interchangeable pendants, allowing for a diverse range of personal expressions. The Young Fish universe serves as a reminder to stay present, immerse yourself in the details, and discover the little fairy tales around you. In the big blue, a diver’s breath becomes a rhythmic melody, inviting a deeper focus on the uniqueness of nature. At each visit beneath the surface of the ocean, nature looks different, and each time you discover something new.

The craftmanship of the collection

Most jewellery pieces in this collection have a very advanced mix of 4 different surface types – Satinized, brushed, sandblasted, and polished. Flow and direction of the satinized surface is very distinct and defined by Sofia. The Fish and Claw pendants for earrings have small handmade safety hooks, made from hard drawn gold wire to achieve correct spring effect. Precious stones are carefully chosen to symbolize the colours of the ocean and the life beneath the sea. Each Fish pendant is carefully tied and knotted with a gold wire. Specially designed Collier with 5 eyelets that can be opened, so it is possible to attach the Fish and MLW Claw pendant. A special handmade spring system was developed to make the Pearl in the Fish ring moveable.
